83 familjer var redo att ta mikrokredit för att kunna köpa sin egen solcellslampa. Med en första kontantinsats för att sedan betala resten med alternativkostnaden för fotogen, veckovis, sammanlagt ca 10 veckor. Vad som behövs är en basfond, en utvecklingsfond som kan betala fakturan kontant, en fond som byggs upp igen av kenyanerna själva. Hjälp till självhjälp. Att låta de svenska pengarna arbeta om och om igen. Idag finns 5000 SEK i fonden, säker skulle fonden kännas då det finns 15000 i den. Jag hoppas att ingen ser sin insats som för liten. många bäckar små! tänk om alla som läser denna blogg, idag bestämde sig för att lägga undan 10 SEK /mån till detta, att skriva det i sin internetbank som ett autogiro, då hade min stress släppt helt och hållet.

They pay initial cash about 4000 SEK for 120 lamps, then the revolving fund will pay for the rest, about 15000, then they will pay back to the fund on a micro credit basis. The alternative cost for buying kerosene is at least 10 SEK a week so within about 10 weeks the full amount will be in the fund again

I invite all my Kenyan friends to write on the blogg, it was created for La Unica to be visible for swedes and others and soon enough it will mainly be updated by Kenyans. When I write on it, I use the Swedish language at times. This is to reach more Swedes. As this is the window for building bridges, we need both languages. Literal translations of my postings may come, as Kenyan postings will be in English. As for now, I use the language most convenient for me as I type.
